I was waiting to board a plane, and for whatever reason, they announced that the plane was delayed. One person walked straight up to the counter and said they couldn’t be delayed. They had to be there, and they were furious, they screamed: “This is not fair.”
What could we do? What can happen in such a situation?
Life’s expectations sometimes can’t be met. Ask anyone, for instance, who is seriously ill, G-d forbid, or injured through no fault of their own, or for instance, those who have lost their home because of an earthquake and did not have insurance coverage, or even a tornado, or perhaps what is referred to as an act of G-d.
