I once learned that a wise man answers the questions that he’s asked in the same order that he is asked. Meaning that, if someone comes to you, and as they are speaking to you, they bring up several subjects and in those, there are perhaps questions or things that they want to know. The best way, the one that would show wisdom and orderliness, would be for you to answer them in the same order that they asked.
Part of the reason is, typically, people, when they ask questions, it is in the way of their thoughts and also according to their importance in their mind. But answering them in an orderly fashion, in the same way that they’ve asked them, you will not only satisfy their mind but also cover the subject in thoroughness which is what you try to do when you want to answer someone wisely.
