Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 538 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Technology, it seems, has developed and enveloped the whole world by taking everyone by surprise when it came. But now, it seems that it’s here to stay. I went on Amazon the other day, and I looked up the word ‘rule,’ and over 12,000 books showed up on that title. Now, many of them have nothing to do, it seems with “these rules”. Rules about dating, how to acquire a job, rules of leadership, so many rules. Sometimes, it’s not important to look at the rules but more at the individual concerns in your pathway. That pathway in the human experience of things that you can do: your creativity, your inspiration, your leadership, your love. G-d has endowed every single human being with human characteristics that are above and beyond goodness, and they are unique to each individual.
For each person who has found success , following any kind of rules, whether they are their own or not, there are many other people as well, who did not follow any rules and found “their” individuality. So don’t follow blindly everything that you are told. Use your own experiences. Something it may be more challenging, but it may help you find what you want to do, what you want to say, what you want to be. The deepest instincts in your life maybe the one that you need to grow, not so much the rules. I’m not saying that you should not follow rules or aspire to read the rules but sometimes, especially when it comes to individuality, you’ll have to commit to something which is from you. You are original. One writer said that “no one has had quite the same life or played the hand exactly as you did or left the same fingerprints on the cards.” (more…)
