In life, there are people who love to give. They love to help others, they’re the givers. Then you have others who love to take. They are called the takers. Now, it’s not as simple as givers and takers, but trying to put everything and everyone into perspective as to who they are makes a big difference.
If you have a life where you love to give, then your heart becomes more open, physically as well as spiritually. The Bible tells us that we have to give a portion of our “belongings”. All was given to each person as a loan to see what we would do with it. There are people who use it to the fullest extent of its meaning, and they truly give away what they have. They share everything and giving doesn’t necessarily mean money. It could be time, it could be energy, it could be thoughts, it could be giving a hug to someone. Even though that may not be a lot to that person, at a time of need, it could be very important. (more…)
