There are times when we meet friends who they ask questions about their lives. For instance, someone who’s going through some trouble or tribulation, may ask the question, “Why is this happening to me? Why do I have to suffer?” and often, a person listens and tries to give them an answer. The listener may want to perhaps make them feel better and say, “Well, this is something that you need to go through. Maybe, because this will make you a better person. Let me make a suggestion.”
Perhaps sometimes, instead of giving an answer, why not just listen? Don’t ever answer, what you don’t know, especially if you think that what happened came from the Creator of the world or the Master of this whole plan. When a person asks a question, often, it is more important to answer the person, not the question. A better answer may be to listen and have a shoulder to let the person lean on. More so than the answer, the question, “why do good people suffer? Why do these things happen?” (more…)
