The pursuit of happiness is a subject that many people discussed over the last several thousand years. Now, I learned recently that according to the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, it is an unalienable right. In fact, it says by one of the authors, the desire to be happy is at the root of all human endeavors. It doesn’t come in the form of an ideal job or a perfect mate, or winning a lottery ticket, not at all. It is that once you get rid of expectations that are not real, but rather focus on what you’ve got, the authentic happiness can be yours.
It’s interesting, isn’t it?
The fact that it is, according to the Declaration of Independence a “right”. So everyone has that right, as a citizen of the United States of America, and it is written in the Declaration of Independence to be happy. (more…)
