Here is a subject which is close to my heart for many years and that is, how do we change our mind to see the positive?
There’s a theory behind it and it’s been proven, even scientifically. As a matter of fact, recent breakthroughs show that the brain functions in two areas. When it’s the left side of the brain, we think thoughts of peace and happiness, joy, contentment, even optimism. But when the right side is activated, then we have the opposite. We have the doom and gloom, and the worries, and even pessimism.
Now, each one of those can be activated at any given time and we have the power to control one versus the other. And, by the time we become adults, unfortunately, depending on the character and the life that we’ve lived, we automatically go towards one versus the other. It’s interesting, isn’t it? (more…)
