Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 58 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
As I was driving by today, I saw a man on a bicycle with flip-flops, a t-shirt, a suntan, shorts, enjoying his ride. He had a drink in his hands and he seemed as though he had no care and no worries at all. He seemed quite relaxed. He looked truly happy. He was just waiting at the light to cross the street with his bicycle. It occurred to me that there are people in this world who enjoy their day, even though don’t seem to have much.
You could tell that this man did not have a lot but in truth, irrespective of his material possessions, this man seemed quite content. The ultimate life, to be happy with what you have, not to be in constant pursuit of more or greater, or better, but just to be content. (more…)
