There is a story about a king who arrived at one of the cities in his kingdom. The king was greeted by the wealthiest man in time, who said, “I would like to ask his majesty to please stay in my spacious residence. I have allocated an entire wing so you can use it for the duration of your visit.”
The king responded in a strange way; he said, “There’s no need to give me an entire suite. One room is enough. Just one room, but it should be completely mine.”
The rich man didn’t understand that. He said, “I’m willing to give your majesty my entire residence just so that you can stay wherever you wish.”
Again, the king turned down the man’s offer, and said, “I don’t want you to give me your entire house. I told you, I want that one room to be completely mine. That is all I need.” (more…)
