You know, it is interesting to look at the definition of the word marriage. Marriage is actually any of the diverse forms of interpersonal union, which is established in various parts of the world. This union forms a familial bond that is recognized legally, religiously, and even socially. It grants the participating partners mutual conjugal rights as well as responsibilities.
A marriage is a challenge even with the best of circumstances. Even when two individuals share common and compatible heritage, culture, or value system they will have challenges regardless of the union. When these parameters diverge, the heritage, the culture, or the value systems—they come from a different direction or different destination, the challenges for a successful marriage drops to virtually nil. It makes no different whether the individuals in question feel attached to their heritage, or their culture, or not. (more…)
