There is an interesting concept about a field which needs to receive the benefit of the rain. Rain benefits only the plowed fields and fields that had been sown. Early and later heavy rains also benefit the crops of the field or even the vines, but a raised field and plowed, and sown, will benefit from neither the soft rain nor the early or even the later heavy rains.
The same is also with blessings. A blessing must have a hold in something. When you give a blessing to someone, the recipient of that blessing must be able to hold on to that blessing. They must want the blessing and they must be able to hold the blessing that you’re giving them in a way that their mind, their body, they’re soul accepts. (more…)
