Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 52 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Did you know that when diamonds are found they are usually found in dirt? They have to be extracted, cleaned up, polished, and often cut. There’s a lot of work that needs to be done for a diamond to be either appreciated or understood. If you see a diamond in the rough, you wouldn’t know that this precious stone has actually a huge monetary value on the market.
This is the same as it is with people. Often, you meet people who seem to be, to a certain extent, “rough”. Rough on the edges, rough in their beings, in their appearance, or sometimes perhaps rough in just the way they act. But, behind that dust, behind the things around it that makes it look rough, there is a true diamond that lives there, and that is the real person that you see behind.
We need to pay attention to this and we need to always be conscientious of the fact that each and every human being in this world is a diamond. Not what we see, not what we think, not what we even believe, but what is inside the diamond.
What is inside the person is a decent human being, someone who wants to give and share, love and give anything at any given time to anyone. It is the dust that surrounds them sometimes because it hasn’t been cut properly.
It’s true that we find at times people who did not have the opportunity to be raised in a proper environment, or just have not been given the skills or the tools to handle various challenging situations. So it could become difficult or challenging for them to act properly. But if you know that they are diamonds inside, their true value is beyond words. So it is actually with every single creation in the world.
Every single thing that has been created in this world has value. An insurmountable value; something which is infinite if you really look at it properly. Why not think, know, and understand that all these diamonds, are just a reflection of who we are?
