I would like to share with you a fascinating concept. Love can be expressed in various ways. Either by speech, a look, a kiss, or an embrace. The highest form of the four is the embrace.
You see, the embrace displays a love so strong as to be uncommunicable by any other means. Its unique feature is so particular that one wise man wrote this:
“When embracing the person on all sides, including from behind, it does not allow him to depart from oneself.”
Imagine that. This is so true. All other expressions of love are directed only to the person’s front, but the embrace itself encompasses the entire body, including the back.
Another point to consider is that the other types of love are limited only to the reception received and they will continue only if the love is reciprocated. But if the proffered love is not returned, then it quickly evaporates. Not so with the embrace. When one does not allow him to depart from oneself, it is a true embrace. It is a love without limits regardless of the recipient’s reaction. Even if the other should turn his back and desire to sever all relations, the love will remain unaffected, as strong as before.
This is the love that you should have for everyone. The way we should look at people, and the way we should interact with them. Unadulterated, genuine, and unconditional.
Once you find that love in yourself, you can share it with others… and at that moment, it’s not limited — not to speech, not to a look, not to a kiss. It’s a full embrace. It involves the whole body. I wish this kind of love for you – from now and forever.
