Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 803 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
It has often been said that when a person does not increase his knowledge, it actually decreases his abilities. The reason is that each of us is actually created to grow as much as possible in all aspects. That is from a spiritual standpoint, physical standpoint, emotional, or plainly from knowledge.
Knowledge is something that you acquire on a daily basis. This can be through experiences that we’ve gone through or attributes that we’ve learned and that we try to enhance upon. But one thing is for sure, everything that we learn, everything that we acquire makes us the person that we are today.
If we increase this knowledge, then we become better and each day becomes greater than the day before. If we stop at any given time, we actually decrease the person that we could be, and decrease the knowledge that we’ve acquired.
We always stand on the ladder and the question is, “Are we going up the ladder or down the ladder?” Each and every human being stands on a rung. That rung lets us know where we are and a person has a choice to acquire more and become more, or to let go of what they’ve learned.
You may say that if you don’t acquire more you understand that you wouldn’t grow, but why would you lose what you’ve had before? In order to keep your knowledge and make it viable, make it so that it becomes useful, you must enhance it at all times. You have to quantify. You have to not only make it greater than it was before, but you have to strengthen it with a passion.
Enthusiasm itself is gained on a daily basis from the effects of the life that we live. It’s up to you to use that concept or not. It is better to always increase what you know by gathering more and more information. If you don’t, you’re going down every single day. There is a difference between increasing versus decreasing.
It’s all up to you. It’s up to each and every one of us to grow or to stagnate and lose and become worse than we were before. Why not take this opportunity to grow, and learn as much as you can, continuously up and up? Because you deserve it!
