Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 878 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Did you know that Michelangelo was one of the artists who lived years ago and he was able to imagine and literally come up with designs in his level which were beyond and above so many artists? Michelangelo, a famous sculptor, was asked how he saw what he saw. He said, “I did not create anything. I saw an angel set in the marble and all I did was chiseled around the angel and I set the angel free.” Interesting, isn’t it? Now, you have to ask yourself, in your life, you have to find the angel in the marble.
Now, most people, all they see is the marble. However, they need to see the angel in the marble, and the angel could be trapped.
There are two challenges about that. One is doubt. A person could say, “Is there an angel? I can’t see him.” And the second is, “It’s hard work.” That’s the truth. But here’s the beauty of it. Once you find the angel in the marble, to set him free, that’s opening your life up for goodness.
So ask yourself, within you, within yourself, is there the marble or the angel? It’s impossible to think that you’re just a piece of marble. Within each and every one of us, is an angel, and these angels that we have within us are such good representation of what our life is supposed to be, and these angels help us create and dominate our life in order to lead us to the proper purpose of our mission, and this is what we have to do.
Now, if you’re asking yourself, is there an angel? The issue is that the self-doubt creates within you a lack of trust, lack of belief, lack of understanding. It’s self-destructive and it’s useless. On the other hand, once you find the angel you may say, how will I liberate it?
How? Very simple. It’s hard work, but once you set that angel free, you could do anything you want.
So don’t be stuck in the marble of life. Don’t be stuck. See the angel in everything that you do and liberate yourself to be free and fly away.
