Think of this concept, if I may impose upon you, regarding the pharmaceutical profession. There are many lessons and it may impact some of our mission in our life, so think about that.
Upon entering a quality pharmacy and seeing the great and varied selection of medicines, there are hundred drugs. They provide relief and possible a cure for all sorts of illnesses, including the most deadly of them. The person seeing this, is greatly impressed and that would make sense.
Now, the pharmacist however, must explain to him that most importantly, all this is but a preface and preparation.
In order for a sick person to actually be cured, two crucial things are necessary and must happen.
First an expert must instruct which specific drug and the specific manner of the administration of this drug and is for this illness. This however is not sufficient in itself; the patient must also actually take the medicine.
So now, think of this about our life. Applies this to our everyday life. Each and every one of us as an individual, is an emissary and we’ve been sent down here on Earth for a specific purpose; but what is the specific purpose? What is the cure that we’re looking for, and what kind of drugs are we going to use? Now, to do this, all we need is but a preamble and a preparation. We still need an expert to instruct us, and in this case, we need either a book, many people have used the Bible, or a mentor, a friend, someone who’s knowledgeable to help us figure out what to do. If they give us that information, we will not destroy anything but rather build on what we’ve got.
Now, to use this concept as a healing process, the person walks out of the pharmacy knowing that this pharmacy has carries, all of the predetermined and pre-prepared medications.
Therefore, our job is to figure out which one is best for us. That’s what life is all about on a daily basis.
We have to figure out, everyday which path to take and whether you want to use a book, a mentor, a parent, or someone who has introduced into your life some good things, you must follow the prescription and not cut yourself.
