Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 957 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

Every human being has within them, two voices. One to help them grow and become better, and the other one to suppress them and to hold them back. Those two voices are there continuously trying to take over and decide which one is going to win. Now, the negative one, the evil inclination, you might want to call evil impulse or the one drawing the person down will try to deceive you. It’s going to tell you that you’ve committed a major problem or a major transgression, when really all you’ve done is a small neglect of an extra detail or perhaps not even a transgression. What is its intent? To get you to be sad or miserable and make other mistakes, and it’s amazing how it draws the person down.

What you need to do, is you need to be wise and you need to overcome that, talk back to that impulse and say:

“I’m not going to pay attention to this extra detail that you’re talking about. I know your intent; you want to stop me from being the best that I can be. I know that you’re speaking lies and if there is a bit of problems in what I’ve done, I know that these technicalities won’t stop me, and you’re trying to manipulate me into a service which I don’t want. I’m going to be joyful. After all, I’m doing this for my own benefit, and I know I can do it.”

Talk yourself out of it. Better be smart than fall into the sadness that will take you apart and make you do things you’re not supposed to do. Once you ignore this negative force, this negative voice, and you know that you can do what you wish, this is now the beginning in the first principle or being all that you can be. You’ve got to starve your fears, and feed your dreams. You must see yourself greater than you, are and always aspire to greater and better concepts. And today, you’re a different person. And if you made a mistake, don’t let it stand in your way; it was just a mistake.
