There are subjects which are difficult to discuss for obvious reasons, and one of them is death. What happens when a person passes away? A loved one. Someone with whom we were close. Someone we admired or someone that we looked up to… What happens to them?
A story or a suggestion of something that you might want to think about. Assume, for whatever reason, a person whom you love has been called away into a distant provincial town. Their job there was going to be to serve to a higher capacity, and to occupy a position of honor. This would be in the most luxurious palace or royal academy.
If a person was called to do such a job, their friends and family members around them would be proud to hear of such an event. They would be looking at this venture as a great opportunity.
Now, take this example in our own world. This is what happens when someone passes away. They actually are called to a higher duty, a greater and better place. An amazing opportunity for them to do even more than they did when they were here with us. Suddenly now, following death is a great venture that happens to all the departed ones. (more…)

At times during circumstances we can be quick to judge. We look at people or their actions, and immediately, unobjectively say things and judge these people in ways that is very narrow minded.
You need to be extremely humble in relation to every person. That is to consider yourself less worthy than anyone else. This is an important concept in order to lead a good life.
Objectively speaking you might say, “How can you consider yourself less meritorious than those who at least appear to be less worthy of your own respect?” You have to bear in mind a very important concept, not to judge anyone until you actually have reached their place. You see, we all have challenges. The fact that sometimes we don’t succumb to these challenges or particular temptation where another person might doesn’t make us superior to them at all.
Who can measure the effect of someone else’s upbringing, environment, inborn character and weaknesses against temptations that one faces? We don’t know this. (more…)

Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 745 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
People sometimes believe that they have a tremendous amount of pressure in their lives, and they don’t know how to react to it. There is nothing more conducive to attune the mind and the heart towards consciousness that there is a Divine Presence above and beyond us. This is the reason why people should pray daily. By praying, a person should know that there is a Being, above and beyond all our consciousness, that is watching over us.
You may say, “I don’t quite see G-d when I pray.” That may be true, but to attain peace, specifically peace of mind, and general contentment, a person should pray to a higher Being. There is a Creator in this world, and through prayer and direct personal contact with this absolutely unbelievable infinite Being, G-d Himself.
One is reminded every day that G-d is actually not that far away. Not in the seventh heaven or somewhere that we can’t even see or understand. The extra Being that we’re speaking about here, is yourself along with the Creator. He is present right here, right next to you, and His benevolent providence extends to each and every one individual. (more…)

There was once a person who had acquired quite a bit of wealth, and he believed in his heart that all this success was due to his own imagination, his ambition, his strength, his knowledge, and his beliefs.
His mentor, who knew better than this, once visited him, and he asked, “What makes you think you earned all these blessings and all of this money?”
The man, in the most arrogant way, answered, “Well, I’m very smart, and because of my work I deserve all the wealth that I’ve acquired.”
The mentor looked at him and said, “Please follow me.”
So, the man did. They went closer to a window that looked outside on the street, and the mentor asked the man, “What do you see?” (more…)

Our universe is made up of four separate worlds. Although they are united, they are different from one another. The first one is the world of inanimate. It is by far the greatest in quantity. As the world was created, the world of the inanimate was first developed. It includes, but is not limited to, the earth that makes up the valleys and the rivers, the sand that covers the miles of beaches, and the stones that form the mountains.
The world of inanimate doesn’t have a vocal voice, like human beings do. But, at times of an earthquake, or during a violent whirlwind, it is very clear that the world of inanimate does have a way to express itself. (more…)
