Anger is defined as a strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence (or attitude) by a wrong. The real question is when does real anger happen? What triggers it? Anger is perceived by most and rightfully so as being a negative trait. So much so that the Talmud says that, “Anger can cause a sage to lose its wisdom, or a person who is distant for greatness to forfeit it”. Actually it is not hard to see why. Indeed, when we get angry we tend to act irrationally. It is a well-known accepted fact that things said or done in anger are almost always destructive almost always caused for later regret. Sadly, enough, dealing with anger is a lifelong challenge. Anger is even compared to eye Dollar Tree; because at time of his anger a man’s faith part’s from him. And this is because if the person realized what actually happened is part of God’s greater plan, then the person will not become angry at all.

The Internet: Friend or Foe

In the last decade the explosive surge of technology has changed everything in our world. With the advent of the internet, laptops, emails, smartphones, texting, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Podcasts… and so many other applications, our world has become fully dependent on the newest technology. Victor Hugo said, “Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come”. In other words, there is nothing as powerful that comes at the right time.

Human beings are the only life form on earth that have the capacity to change the course of life. Humans are not controlled by other instincts or genetic codes. Indeed, a man can alter the next five years of life from the way he lived the previous five years. With the use of technology, these five years have been reduced depending on the circumstances to just days. Probably one of the greatest blessings that the technology has brought to us is the ability to communicate. At any given time and often at no extra charge, a grandparent can wish a grandchild a happy birthday in a “live” conversation even though they are both living in opposite continents. For this reason alone, all these modern developments have been welcomed blessings. Hence, we are continuously faced with an opportunity to do something that could benefit the world, or have an opposite negative affect. Simply put, everything in the world is either pulling or pushing in some direction.
