Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 102 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
A person, it says, should not wander.
How is it possible for one to do whatever he wants, and be responsible for his own deeds?
Isn’t the whole world under the guidance of one Creator?
Is it possible for anything to happen in this world without the permission and the desire of the Creator of the world?
We must assume and believe that whatever the Creator wishes, He has done in the heavens and the earth. One must not think that everything is done according or against His personal will.
Human beings are responsible for their own deeds. So, how is this apparent contradiction resolved?
The Creator desired the elements of fire and wind to rise upwards as well as those of water and earth to descend downwards. The heavenly spheres result in circular orbit and all other creations of the world followed nature, which the Creator desired for them. So too, the Creator desired that men have free choice and be responsible for his deeds without being pulled or forced. Rather, on his own initiative with the knowledge that the Creator created each person, that person will do anything that he’s able to do.
Man is judged according to his own deeds. If he does good, he is treated with beneficence. If he does bad, he is treated harshly. This is the doing of your own hands: the fact that you have chosen your own path. You must know that you have the ability to choose which path to go at any given time. You can choose life – or the opposite. You could choose goodness – or the opposite.
Why not choose the best way to live? Live through goodness, joy, giving, and loving. You deserve to be happy, and you can do it!
