Power of Meditation

Power of Meditation

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 321 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond We all go through life experiencing various conditions which make it difficult at times to overcome, and sometimes even scary. We’re not sure of some of the things that are happening and we’re not sure of the future. Sometimes, even though it looks promising, it’s not what happens; so what do we do? Some advice which I think could be beneficial if you were to do it properly. It is called meditation. The power of meditation can truly help you, and that doesn’t mean that you’re going to your room and get yourself into a strange position and start humming; that is not meditation. Meditation is the ability to close your eyes two, three times a day in a peaceful environment and recount of who you are and try to figure out where you are going. read more…
Being Mad

Being Mad

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 320 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

At times, you hear people saying they are mad about a situation, circumstance, or something that has happened to them. For whatever reason, they are just mad. They have at this moment realized that what they wanted, did not get accomplished; or what they needed, did not get done.

Why be mad? What does madness bring to the world. What does the negativity of the madness generated, from this attitude, bring to you or the rest of the world? Absolutely nothing.

Being mad means that you are only downgrading yourself and losing the opportunity to become better. Now you can be bitter about your situation so you can improve; that is a good quality because then things will change. Things will become better. Things will become improved. You will then apply diligence onto whatever it is that didn’t get accomplished. You will electrify yourself; nurture your new passion and reinforce your belief to do the best that you can. read more…

Beneficial Meeting

Beneficial Meeting

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 319 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

When we have meetings with people the question is, “Is the meeting beneficial or not?” If it is the next question would be, “Is it beneficial to both parties or just one?” For a meeting to be beneficial it has to be able to be beneficial to both. Both parties, as they meet, have to walk away with something. Something which is greater than they had before the meeting.

The approach of a meeting should be with respect and affection. The reason for that is because you have to judge every single person favorably, irrespective of what you find out about them. It is necessary to bear in mind that the person that you’re meeting with could be making a self-commitment in their lives or perhaps may not even be responsible. read more…

Share Everything

Share Everything

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 318 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

As a parent and, while we are helping our children grow up, we often remind them of how careful they have to be while they play with other children or the habits that we want them to develop. One of them is the ability to be compassionate and sharing. “Share everything you have”, we tell them. “Share your toys, share your bed, and share maybe even your lunch.” We tell this to our children as they are growing up. We want them to be kind, compassionate, and giving.

Sharing is an important component of our lives. As we grow to become adults and many people forget the importance of sharing. They believe that “this” is theirs, that they have earned the right to have it. Or they’ve earned, for whatever reason, the opportunity to use it. It becomes to them a fact. This is my car. These are my clothes. This is my office. This is my money and everything becomes then, just ‘mine’. read more…

Proud of What?

Proud of What?

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 317 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

I’m sure that you have met people who are very proud of who they are. Sometimes this pride hinges upon not just “extreme” pride but almost arrogance. What is the point of that? Why be that way?

To be proud is a good thing. It’s showing that you care and that you are confident in what you’re doing.

To be that arrogant, however, has no purpose to it and there’s no benefit to anyone. A person must strive and toil strenuously with patience and friendliness and you can prevail in all things. With a denigrative attitude towards others and inflating your own importance, you lose everything. There’s nothing left for you. read more…

Awesome Responsibility

Awesome Responsibility

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 316 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

How serious is life? How serious should you act toward life?

You have to see yourself as though the entire world is held in your balance at any given time, and any one deed that you do could tip the scales for you and the entire world, either for the good or the opposite. When faced with an opportunity to do something that could benefit the world – or the opposite – Knowing that everything in the world is either pulling or pushing you in some direction is an awesome responsibility. It’s awesome because it is given to you and no-one else.

You may say, “Why just me? There are many people in this world, and why should I be responsible?” Each and every creation in this world has a purpose. Not just to be there, but a purpose to accomplish its fullest potential. If it doesn’t, then it’s wasted time and it may not have the opportunity to do it again. read more…

Ripple Effect

Ripple Effect

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 766 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

In life, we often don’t realize what our actions can do. It is interesting that every single action that we take affects the whole world.

Have you ever heard the concept about the butterfly that flaps its wings and the sound that it creates by flapping its own little wings can create a tsunami – literally – on the other side of the world. It sends waves all the way to the other side of the world. We don’t always know the power of our actions, and we don’t always realize that our choices can create a ripple effect, and that those ripple effects can be, literally, to no end.

Often, we may not even discover the full impact of our actions. Only sometimes we are lucky to see that behind the curtain of life, how all the strings of life are being pulled and directed. We see what we’ve done, and we see the effects that it had on other things, places, and people. read more…

Absolute Trust

Absolute Trust

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 314 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

There is a place in your life where you reach a certain level of peace and serenity. This place, when you reach it will become the ultimate and most absolutely delightful moment in your life. This is the moment when you live with absolute trust. Absolute trust is to know for a fact that what you’ve done, and what you are doing, is good. Not just for you but for the world around you and the whole universe.

Absolute trust means that you have confidence in your actions, and the confidence of all the things that you’ve accomplished, both on your thoughts, speech, and actions. That they’re all connected, but they’re doing the right thing. That they’re going in the right direction. At that moment, you have the absolute trust that everything will be well. read more…

I Told You So

I Told You So

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 313 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

I’m sure you’ve heard the term, “I told you so.” It’s been told to us throughout the years we were growing up, by our parents or perhaps by a friend who cared enough to tell us what they thought. It may have been told to us by someone such as a grandparent, an uncle, or even a sibling. Sometimes it’s told to us by a colleague, or someone we meet who becomes a mentor to us.

“I told you so” – the four most important words that can make a difference in your life. Yet we take these words for granted and hardly ever listen to them.

I remember when my parents, specifically my father, would say to me that his father had told him so many things that he had to do and things that he should be aware of. “Two words to remember”, he would say, “One is behold and the other one is beware.” read more…

Moving Forward

Moving Forward

Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 309 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

There are times when we have disagreements, disputes, or even arguments with people who we love, and people with whom we should be close to. It may be a spouse, a sibling, a friend, a family member, a colleague, a neighbor, or an acquaintance – Anyone.

We get into these arguments sometimes based on things which we believe should be argued about, or concepts, or a philosophy, or even something we feel strongly about. But I ask you, after all said and done, was it really worth it? Probably not; we are the wreckage. read more…
