Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 501 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
The topic of money has always been a difficult subject to approach. Money is such an emotional topic and most people have ambivalent feelings about it or speaking about it.
Now, so many things are being shown on television and on the internet about movies and how they characterize people who are so wealthy. Is really the love of money that is evil or is money the root of all evil? It’s a difficult question. One thing is for sure however, if you could do better in life and if you could strive in an ethical and legal way to acquire more, is that bad, is that not good?
You see, the greatest satisfaction in life or at least one of the greatest satisfaction in life comes to those who make it a habit of doing the best at everything with everything they’ve got, and doing less than that, it’s a way of showing that you really don’t care so much about your life.
We are creatures of enterprise. We love challenges. We love growth and we love to benefit from it. So if you know something and you have an ability, why not use it to become financially free?
See, sophisticated people know that it’s not the amount that matters. It’s what you’re given and what you do with what you’re given, doing all that you can with what you’ve got. Of course, acquisitions of all kinds of material things show the type of person that you are but at the same time, your philosophy about life or your attitude, or your knowledge and your thoughts, even your character, does not need to be affected by financial freedom or financial responsibility. What you do does speak loudly about what you have but at the same time, what matters is what you do with what you have.
I once heard someone say, if I had more money, I would have a better plan and the answer was to that person, I would have actually suggested to you that if you had a better plan, you would have more money. You see, it’s not the amount that counts. It’s the plan that counts. It’s not how much you allocate but how you allocate it.
Financial freedom is about knowing what to do with the money that you’ve got. Money is not evil. People do evil things with it but why not try to become financially free and live a life of goodness without having to do too much more than your supposed to?
