Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 850 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Isn’t it interesting how sometimes you have an idea, a concept, something that you’re thinking about and we often use the expression “It is at my fingertips but I can’t put my mind or my heart, or clearly find what it is? I could feel it on my fingertips.”
Now, why is this concept about the “fingertips”?
It’s interesting. People say this because the fingertips are very sensitive. As a matter of fact, if you’ve ever given chills to a child or caressed his skin, you find that by using your fingertips, the child is soothed. This movement of striking, brushing calmly, in a very quiet way, soothes the child.
The fingers of the hand, have this ability to soothe people. This soothing is because we feel through touch, and the touch itself is at the tip of those fingers. So the fingertips have this ability to change someone else’s mood, feeling or affection just because of where it is.
This concept is quite interesting if you think about it. Whether it’s an idea or something that you want to do, the fact that it is at your fingertips, it’s available to you, it’s accessible to you.
Why not use it? Why not be the person that you want to be?
None of us, and I believe this from the bottom of my heart, are meant to be or are inherently cruel; that’s just so far-fetched from any human being. Even if the human being is today older and “inherently cruel”, when that individual was young he was not “cruel”.
So any one of us have the choice in this world today to be kind, giving, sharing. We all have that ability. The question is, do we use it? Will we take advantage of that?
We really can. We should, we need to.
This will change the world. This will change us. This will change everything that we have if we really want to, and let the fingertips be your guiding light.
