Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 191 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Have you ever noticed how sometimes you are around people who use words that don’t mean anything?
They say things that they don’t mean or they sometimes express themselves in ways that make absolutely no sense. Then they say, “I didn’t mean that”, or “that’s really not what I said.”
This is called “foolish talk”.
What is “foolish talk”? Words, concepts, or a pattern of thoughts which are said in words and really didn’t get anywhere.
What is the purpose of “foolish talk”? It has absolutely no purpose. It may seem harmless, but indeed, it is very dangerous.
Before a word is expressed it has to have a source, and that source is your mind. This is the basis of where your thoughts come from.
When you express yourself with certain words, concepts, or ideas that mean nothing, or if you said something you don’t really mean, this is “foolish talk”. I would strongly suggest that you stop with the “foolish talk”.
Say things that matter.
Say words that touch somebody else’s life.
The things that you say should always be worthwhile. They should be worth writing and sharing. Things that elevate the world. Things that will make you proud to be heard.
Imagine that you are being taped at any given time. As long as you remember this, you will be careful to never use foolish talk ever again.
