Have you ever spent time looking at a tree?
A tree is typically made up of a trunk and branches that develop from the ground and grow all the way through, and at the end of these branches are leaves. Often the tree grows to a considerable height. The tree itself is interesting.
What is the difference between one tree and others?
There are fruit bearing trees and there are non-fruit bearing trees. The barren tree without fruit merely impress us with their stately presence. They may perhaps offer us shade, but they sacrifice nothing in so doing.
On the other hand, fruit bearing trees provide us with nourishment and delight at their own expense. Truly refined emotions are achieved by shedding childlike self-absorption and by contributing to the world.
When you seek instruction and inspiration, you should turn to people who are not only intelligent and talented, but who consistently utilize their gift for the world’s greater good. You should truly be an example of the fruit bearing trees. Those that give without asking anything in return. This is well worth doing it, because this makes our world a much better place for all of us to live.
