I am sorry. At times, I was not there when I should have been – and for that I am sorry.
I’m also sorry for the times that I said things which were inappropriate, and I have hurt you. For that I’m sorry.
I’m sorry for not always listening to you when I should have.
I’m also sorry for not paying attention to the details of the things that should have mattered at the time you were telling me. For that I’m sorry.
I’m also sorry for not visiting you as often as I should have.
I’m sorry for not always, and continuously, believing in you.
I’m sorry for some of the things that may have been misunderstood. I am sorry for many of these things.
Being sorry is only a part of what the message is. Making up and being different from now on, and hopefully healing the scars. I’m sorry for many of these things. If you are sorry for something you have done and said; some of the thoughts you may have had which were inappropriate towards someone else, be it a friend, a relative, a colleague, or just someone, whomever it may be. First, say you’re sorry, and you have to mean it. Then, make up that difference in whatever ways you wish. From now on you can have positive thoughts, positive words, and great actions to accompany these wonderful thoughts that you have now brought to light. That’s what you have to do.
Know that for this, I’m sorry and if you have not done it in the past it may be time to do it. I’ve done it, and I can’t even tell you how good it feels when you apologize for something that you wish you hadn’t done. Then you can move on.
So, if I had not told you this before, I’m also sorry for that. But now that we both know, let’s do and say it right. Let’s think it well and from here on out, we won’t have to say, “I’m sorry” any more. Now go and have yourself a great day.
