Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 715 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

Have you ever met people who have been tagged as “being moody”? This means that they are downcast, or they change from good to not good, and become melancholic sometimes.

What causes this mood change? It could be their circumstances, the way they feel about themselves, or a lack of self-worth. Perhaps they envy others, or are experiencing difficulties and obstacles, that they feel cannot be overcome.

When you meet someone moody, instead of just saying, “This person is moody. I don’t want to be around them.” Why not get closer to them and ask them, “What caused the change in your attitude?” Once you find out about what caused that change, why not help them see things in a different light?

Bring goodness into their life. Help them see themselves greater than they are. Help them and guide them through their difficulty. People are not moody, they just go through various experiences in life, which affects their attitude. Sometimes it is above and beyond themselves. They just cannot control it, or at least they think they can’t.

Since you have the ability to do so, why not help them understand themselves? Get close to them and help them. Assist them in overcoming that obstacle. Show them the “good” in life. Show them the true good, how they can overcome obstacles, how these challenges are temporary, and you will see that this person will no longer be moody. As a matter of fact, they may become joyous all the time.

They will change, and you will have affected their life as well as your own; become better, stronger. And because you’ve helped them, you have helped yourself, and you’ve helped the whole world become a much better place for everyone to live.
