Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 483 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
So you have made a mistake, something which you wish you hadn’t done. It’s there, it’s clear. Now, you’re trying to figure out how to make up how to change how to return to where you were before that mistake.
Personal interest should not be the main motivating factor in feeling regret over the past and making a firm commitment to change, commitment to change even though most people are generally interested in enjoying the goodness of knowing they’ve been forgiven. Returning means, letting go of the past. And instead of the part of properly and truly changing ourselves, and understanding that it’s not all about me, making a mistake and doing something which is inappropriate is not just a personal problem and it doesn’t just concern our own individual situation, it’s much deeper than that. It’s about fixing the rest of the world and when you make a mistake and things have been disconnected, expressing your regret has a much larger connotation and it reaches passages in worlds way beyond what you think, and we have to find a way to rectify it. When a person is truly remorseful about something they’ve done which was not good, something which is now in the past, the subsequent desire at that moment is immense. It forms a new path, a new intensity. It’s an incredible insight and you’re highly motivated with a strong desire to change some of those things and restore the damage, connection or things that you have done which was inappropriate.
So if you’ve made a mistake, return to where you were and forget about the rest. Use this is an incentive and an impetus to become better. From now on promise yourself you will never do that again, that’s all it takes. And return to where you were and enjoy life because that’s what it’s meant to be, a life of struggle but of success; of ascension but of change; a life of goodness and the end result is what matters. Enjoy the journey. Enjoy it because you deserve it.
