Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 213 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
An interesting concept to discuss is the crowing of the rooster. This is one of the wonders the Creator implemented in nature. By some hidden, peculiar sense it seems that the rooster knows the time when the darkness of night is about to lift and give its place to the light of the day.
How does it know that? It’s a wonder of the world. It’s one of the mysteries that no one understands. Yet, it’s a natural phenomenon, something which happens all over the world, all the time.
Day and night, light and darkness are often synonymous with good and bad, knowledge and ignorance, happiness and misery. There are people in this world who actually live in the dark. There are those that have no knowledge of the Creator of the world or the goodness of the world, or facts that are accepted by most people.
We have heard that terrible experiences are referred to as nightmares. We speak of the dawn at the beginning of the “new era”, or we speak of the “night” also of a series of misfortunes.
Here is something to consider, something which would help us understand the difference. A person who knows good and bad is able to distinguish between what is appropriate and not appropriate. They would be able to, from a logical standpoint, recognize the goodness in things and things that are more challenging. We have to try to keep at all times a positive attitude. That’s something that is well-known, but not everyone is able to do this. Not everyone is able to follow through with that idea. One thing is for sure, it is that the rooster, every single morning, knows its place.
You know what’s even more interesting? It is that anywhere in the world, comes the crack of dawn, the rooster knows that it is morning. It is the only animal that recognizes that. Isn’t that interesting? It always knows its space, its time, and its functions, and that’s part of the mystery of the world.
The beauty and the magic is for us human beings to use this understanding and also know what to do, how to do it, and where to do, the things that we’re supposed to do as human beings. That is the magic that we’re given.
