Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 229 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
There are many people and also children in this world, that we call disabled, who are actually special. Yet, they are even called ‘retarded’. Have you ever heard of this term? They say that they are characterized by slowness, or some kind of limitation in intellectual understanding or awareness, emotional development, or academic process. They call them ‘dull’, ‘stupid’, ‘dumb’, ‘simple’, ‘slow’, even ‘under-achievers’.
This is so far from the truth.
It is a shame that some people don’t recognize those children for who they really are, they don’t understand them. You see, when a child is born, a soul is taken from Heaven and enters the human body of that child. But at times, for those unique and special souls, the vessel – which is the human body – is so bright and is so extraordinarily beautiful, that the vessel itself, cannot contain it. Therefore, it seems to the people around that these children are disabled. When in reality, these children are bright, clear, and intelligent. They are kind, they are gifted, they’re exceptional. But most of all, they have a unique, blessed soul. That’s who they truly are.
It is a shame that our society does not recognize that and we want to label them as being different. Next time you see a child who doesn’t look the way you think they should look, and they are labelled as ‘retarded’, correct the people around you. Let them know that they have a unique soul, and that their soul is so exalted and so amazingly beautiful that it is “the body” that was not able to contain it.
They are beautiful, they are sweet and they are so kind, beyond imagination. These are the children that we need to listen to and follow. We should ask them how to run our day, because they would know. Because of who they are and what they bring to the world.
They are blessed souls. All beautifully packaged for us to appreciate.
Make a difference today, and make sure that when you see one of these blessed souls, ask them for a blessing, because they are powerfully endowed with goodness inside and out. In everything they do.
