Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 235 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
What is the definition of a talent? Talent is a special natural ability, an aptitude, or a capacity for achievement and success. Some people don’t claim to have any talent.
We all have talents. The question is why do some of us outshine others with a talent that we have?
Those among us who have been blessed with special talents, skills, or have received some unexpected divine gift should understand that the purpose of this “gift” is not that we use it for selfish purposes. To the contrary, we should use it to construct a better world, a greater place, and an amazing environment. A home where G-dliness, and goodness, and greatness would be able to enhance our personal lives through the study of wisdom.
We have been given a Bible, a book of instructions. You can either use it and read it, or forget about it. If you have a special talent, however, you cannot afford not to use it or share it. That is just not right. Use your talent.
Now you may ask, “Who has talents, and what kind of talents?”
Everyone has talents. Everyone has the ability to use those talents above and beyond anything that they ever imagined.
There is not one human being who is born without special talents. Each and every human being is unique. That in itself is a talent, and the gift that was given to us—each and every one of us—is for us to develop our gifts, and these abilities, and aptitudes to the highest level and proficiency that we can.
Those are your talents, use them. Use them properly and change this world into a greater place. Make this universe a great one. One where you leave your life with a memory, and make sure it is something that has changed. Leave it better than you found it and use the beauty of your special talent. You have it. I have it. We all do. Make good use of it, and change the world!
