Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 142 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
How can you create true unity? After all, some of us are leaders while others are followers. What could human beings of such wide spectrum of social standing possibly have in common?
The answer is given by a great man who said, “Firstly, who is to say, who is ultimately higher on the ladder of achievement? Appearances can be deceiving and we tend to over-evaluate ourselves while under-evaluating others.
“Secondly,” he continued, “even if we had evaluated ourselves correctly, just because we excel at one particular aspect of life doesn’t mean that there are no other aspects others exceed us. Everyone is a leader in some way. Therefore, our collective success depends on every person’s unique contribution to the world.
“Thirdly,” he said, “The difference between the Creator and any creature is infinite. Realizing our own puniness relative to G-d’s absolute reality eliminates any feeling of superiority over other people. You see, when we consider these three perspectives we can truly stand united together. Not only with feelings of love towards each other, but with behavior that testifies to the truth of these feelings.”
Why not help one another? Why not love one another? Why not unite?
True unity can be created when we realize these three aspects of protocols or systems that we’ve spoken about. These are truths. The earlier we figure it out, the better our world will be. Let’s try to work with one another, and let’s make this world the best place in the universe, because we deserve it.
