Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 894 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
Often, we find people who ask, “I believe G-d exists. I’m just not sure how to prove it. I don’t even know what to do with that sentence. I just know He exists,” and we take things for granted because of that. The fact however, that the Creator of the world and however you wish to call “It” is unlike any other person that we know, that know where the knowledge and the things that are known is not something that we can grasp by human intellect. We can’t understand that. It can’t even be discussed or verbalized. The ear that can’t hear it and the heart can’t recognize it. It’s difficult to interpret.
The reason for this, is because we generally try to understand things that exist outside of ourselves by thinking about how it is in us or in a relationship to us, and then by projecting it outward. It is so completely foreign to us sometimes that our comprehension can’t grasp it. We just don’t know how to relate to that.
Imagine this: imagine two drops of water sliding down a window pane. Now, the drops can meet and merge together, and form one drop. With the new drop formed, we can’t tell that it was two separate drops, that they merged, but it appears to us as one single drop. This is a good example of demonstrating unity; true unity. The new drop is formed by merging two drops together. Now, it’s larger than it was before, but adding this knowledge to us doesn’t change anything. We could do this about our understanding.
We can’t do this about the Creator’s understanding, and the reason for it, because it is beyond us.
It’s not something we can realize or figure out so if you have doubts about who you are and what you do, if you have a unity beyond comprehension, concept that’s blocking you and saying, “I don’t know, I don’t care, it’s too much,” think of yourself as being a created entity and therefore, to know the Creator is impossible because “you” were created. You won’t know more. It’s like being older than your parents. That will never be possible because every day you age, and they’re still aging ahead of you, always. You’ll never catch up. But understand that you’ve been created for a good reason. Now, use that knowledge.
