Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 221 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
I had the beautiful and honored privilege to be raised in a family where all of us were close to each other. Especially us, the children, we were very close to my parents.
One day, my life changed. My father passed away, and when that happened I wasn’t quite sure what would happen to me. What would happen to my life? What would happen to my family?
I asked the question to my mother, “What is it going to be now?”
She answered, in an unwavering faith, “It will all be good. Definitely.”
I never forgot those words, and although today many years have passed, I have learned a great lesson from this “unwavering faith”.
It’s the kind of faith that keeps you “above and beyond”, and when challenges come, you know that things will be okay. Many people around the world assume that there is only one chance for every opportunity. Sometimes trouble comes that you can’t overcome. But with unwavering faith, things can change. Things can become better.
Of course, you cannot discover the new ocean, unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Who can do that? Anybody. We were created in such a remarkable way that we have unprecedented challenges in front of us that we can manage to overcome at any time. We have the dignity and the strength to persevere. The worth of character; the improvement of our own talents; the power of kindness; the wisdom of originality. We were given so many tools to overcome any challenge.
Know that when these things happen, as it does in many people’s lives, you have in you unwavering faith and you can use it, awaken it.
If you tap into it, it will take you to a level above and beyond anything you ever thought was even possible. I thank my mother for this.
