Why Money is So Important

money

Since the creation of the world, money is the means human beings use to acquire material stuff. Money is necessary because it gives us the ability to create the lifestyle that we want. Part of our purpose in life is to figure out ways to live uniquely. A successful lifestyle is an art, a study, a practice, and an awareness.

The world is made up of 4 elements, Fire, Dust, Water and Air. While fire rises up, dust, water and air goes down. The bible recounts the story of Moses who was shown a fiery coin to use to count the Israel lights. Although fire by its very nature has no form, the coin is clearly and obviously a well delineated object. The commentators explained that G-d Almighty, was teaching Moses a lesson of the value of money: Although money is a physical tangible component if life, it has no true value or purposeful meaning unless it is used appropriately for defined assistance. Indeed, this is accomplished by using one’s money to help others and causing it to light up a fire of excitement in the giver as well as the receiver. It is interestingly to know that a giver cannot exist unless there is a receiver. This actually causes a true indivisible union. Hence, G-d the Ultimate Giver, extends with his infinite wisdom to man the ability to transcend man’s limited finite and selfish being by sharing with another his own wealth. All this must be done quickly and at all opportunity times. This is the reason why giving charity does not require one to make a blessing as do all other commandments. This is so that the receiver who is in need should not have to wait even a moment to benefit.

From this one can easily understand now why money is so important in the world today. It benefits both the giver and receiver by giving them both opportunity to help spread good deeds of kindness. So don’t just learn how to earn, learn how to live. And don’t just accumulate more and more money but learn how to share and become benevolent.
