How can you create true unity? After all, some of us are leaders while others are followers. What could human beings of such wide spectrum of social standing possibly have in common?
The answer is given by a great man who said, “Firstly, who is to say, who is ultimately higher on the ladder of achievement? Appearances can be deceiving and we tend to over-evaluate ourselves while under-evaluating others.
“Secondly,” he continued, “even if we had evaluated ourselves correctly, just because we excel at one particular aspect of life doesn’t mean that there are no other aspects others exceed us. Everyone is a leader in some way. Therefore, our collective success depends on every person’s unique contribution to the world. (more…)
