Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 171 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
There was once a story about a lone traveler who was crossing the snowy mountain late at night. He knew that if he fell asleep death would inevitably follow. He struggled bravely against his sense of sleep, which actually weighed down his eye lids; and it was slowly creeping up on him.
At this moment of crisis, his feet struck something that was lying across his path. He bent over and found that it was a human body buried beneath the snow. He was stunned by this finding.
He picked up the person and within a short period of time he found himself holding the body of this person in his arms and rubbing them. All limbs were absolutely frozen.
In order to restore some sort of life into that person, he held him close in his arms. After a short period of time, with the warmth and energy that he exerted, the person actually came back to life and was very thankful. (more…)
