Many people have a hard time or find it challenging or difficult to associate with or even live among others. Now, I ask you the question, why would that be an issue? Why can’t you be part of the whole world and be happy where you are? That doesn’t mean that the world dictates what you’re going to do or certainly guide you into the directions that they wish. You have the choice to do whatever you wish, and it is a given gift from Heaven and the Creator of the world, that each and every human being in this world, the only life on Earth which has 100% unadulterated option on every single decision, and it’s called free will. But you have to remain loyal to who you are.
By remaining loyal to yourself, there is a part of you there that is always in touch with your soul. There is a place in you that is absolutely wholesome, pure, and untarnished; and that’s yourself. That’s you; that’s who you are, that’s your inner being, that’s the core of your being. That part never gets tarnished or never gets sullied by anything. It’s you. (more…)

Often, people are so concerned about directives and rules. They hear the term “conform” and are unhappy about it. They say, “Why should I conform? Why should I follow the rules?”
The truth is, one way or the other, a person will have to conform with rules. That’s just the way the world is set up. One or the other person will have to follow the right way. Might as well do it now.
If you think about it, there’s no question that each and every one of us have to follow certain rules. Now when we were young, there are rules at school. We learn to follow what the teacher wants us to do and what we’re supposed to, and follow all of the directives that we’re given.
As we grow older, we realize that in order for us to drive or to have a job, or to earn a living, or to be married, or to have children, or start a company, or do whatever we want to do, there are directives and rules that we have to follow. (more…)

You may have heard of the great electrical engineer, Charles Steinmetz. He was once asked, “In what line of research would see the greatest development in the next many years?”
Instead of mentioning some line of electrical application, he said the following, “There is a force which history clearly teaches us to accept as being one of the greatest power in the development of man and history, yet we have merely been playing with it and have never seriously studied it as we have the physical forces.”
Someday people will learn that material things don’t bring happiness and are of little use in making men and women creative and powerful. Then the scientists of the world will turn the laboratories over to the study of G-d and prayer. The spiritual forces have hardly been touched. (more…)

Daily Wisdom – Motivational Podcast – Day 145 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond
A couple of days ago, I drove by a street and was taken aback by what I saw. On the sidewalk, on all four corners, from one side of the street to the other, instead of having just those parallel lines where the pedestrians walk, I actually saw keyboards. Someone, in a genuine and unadulterated manner, but in such a beautiful way, had drawn piano keys. The full keyboards on all sidewalks. As you go around and see the cross street on one side sidewalk to the other, instead of walking between parallel lines and just blank asphalt, you actually walked on piano keys.
Then, I saw something very interesting: on each side of the street was a young boy that kept waiting for the light to turn red and then he would run back and forth as though he was playing the keyboards using his feet, making music. I thought this was so original. (more…)

G-d Almighty, Master of the universe, King of all kings, Ruler of the world, I thank You. I thank You that I am standing here today and everything I will say will be like nothing in comparison to how much I truly need to thank You. For everything, I need to thank You, because everything is from You. I thank You for the things that are in this world. Thinking on the countless times that You’ve helped me, You supported me, You saved me, You made me happy, You healed me, You watched over me, You encouraged me. Thank You for always being there with me. Thank You for giving me the strength to do good deeds, and the strength to pray.
Thank You for all the times You’ve helped me and I did not know how to say, “Thank You”. Thank You for the kindness You do for me every second of the day, and thank You for helping me breathe freely. Also, for the things that I don’t have. I know that sometimes there are things that are difficult for me or, and I am even sad at times, but I know that everything is for my good. Although I don’t always see it, I thank You. I know deep in my heart everything comes from You, and it is the best thing for me. It was all made especially for me. The exact, perfect, Divine Providence. Like only the King of all kings can do. So, thank You for it, and thank You for the hard times, because this is the only way that I can appreciate the good. And only after we’re found in the darkness can we appreciate the light. (more…)
